Day 21 – Homeward Bound

We awakened around 4:15 AM to the sound of an alarm clock, telling us it was time to get up and get ready. Our plan was to take a taxi to the train station, from where we connect to a short train ride to the airport.

While we’re departing from a different city than our point of entry, our route home is similar to our arrival path. We’re flying out with Swiss International Airlines to Münich, where we connect again with a Lufthansa plane taking us back to Toronto.

The arrival at the Zürich airport by train was very easy and smooth. The transit system here is certainly very convenient and well timed.

After checking in our luggage, we had to wait a few minutes for the Swiss First Class lounge to open at 5:45.

When the time came, we were driven by limo from the lounge to the aircraft stairs.

It was a quick 35 minute flight to Münich. When we landed and parked at a remote stand on the tarmac, I was worried we might have to take a shuttle to the terminal building. Fortunately, when we stepped out of the aircraft, a Lufthansa representative was standing there next to a limo holding a sign with our names on it. We were driven direct to the First Class lounge where they processed our passports, we could have a nice breakfast and we waited for the next flight.

Looking for clarity on klonopin dosing? Understanding the right dosage is crucial for your well-being. Let’s break it down:

Step 1: Assess your condition and consult a healthcare professional. Your needs are unique, your treatment should be too.

Step 2: Start with the lowest effective dose to minimize risks and maximize benefits. Safety first!

Step 3: Establish a consistent dosing schedule for optimal results. Consistency is key in finding your balance.

The flight home was comfortable, as expected. In the past, while we’ve tried to book non-stop flights wherever possible, we may find ourselves choosing to connect in Munich again, since we enjoyed the service and hard product with Lufthansa very much.

Day 2 – Arrival in Geneva

Shortly before arriving in Munich, we awoke from a very comfortable flight.  We freshened up a bit and got changed, before getting ready to land.

The weather looked nice, if a bit hazy, as we were approaching Munich airport.

Instead of parking at a remote stand, which is common at European airports, our flight arrived at a gate. Unfortunately, it was the furthest gate in the terminal, so it meant a bit of a walk. After about 15 minutes, we made our way to the Lufthansa First Class lounge, where they have their own immigration desk to clear incoming passengers.

After formalities, the first order of business was to get a nice shower and some breakfast.  They have very nice facilities for both showers and baths, which are most welcome after a long flight.  And to complete the experience, we were provided with nice souvenir rubber ducks for the bath!

After a nice hot breakfast, we relaxed before it was time to board our flight to Geneva. They had a nice buffet breakfast and also a nice menu of made-to-order items.

Our flight to Geneva was on a smaller aircraft, and was leaving from a remote location on the tarmac rather than from a terminal gate. However, instead of having to take a shuttle bus, the FCT has a limousine service downstairs where they drive us directly from the lounge to the aircraft stairs!  This was our ride.

Once in the air, we were less than an hour from landing in Switzerland. Here we are flying over Lac Léman.

Once on the ground, we claimed our luggage and grabbed the train into town toward our hotel, the Swissôtel Métropole, Geneva.

We were only going to be in Geneva for one night, and we expect most of our time will be a little difficult as we recover from jet lag, however, we did want to see what we could while we were here.

We had a nice updated room with a view to the park in front of the lake.

After getting settled, we set out to explore the waterfront area, and decided to take a boat tour of Geneva.

The boat tour lasted about an hour. We then explored some of the nearby streets and looked for a bite to eat for dinner. Geneva is a very pretty city.

After dinner, we returned to the hotel and tried to get some sleep and get accustomed to the time change as quickly as possible.
